It’s spring! Lastly! And all week it’s…raining! After the winter season we’ve experienced, I’m not stunned, whilst the past handful of months of sun has me thirsty for additional sun and 70s.

With spring comes Easter and 1 of my most loved seasons: strawberry season. We get strawberries all calendar year spherical here in California, but in the winter season they never flavor pretty great. In spring and summer season they flavor wonderful and we get pint soon after pint and I make matters like strawberry shortcake pie, cake, and lush. And now, I make MONKEY BREAD!

Monkey bread is a critical weak point for me. It’s a thing I simply cannot even have all-around except if I have organization since I’ll get a chunk here, a chunk there, and then in advance of I know it the complete loaf is long gone.

I like it since it preferences so great (bread + cinnamon sugar + butter + brown sugar simply cannot be conquer) but also since it is so quick to make. It’s the perfect quick brunch recipe for any Sunday or holiday. Commonly I just make a standard monkey bread for Xmas and holidays but this time I resolved to incorporate strawberries for a pleasant spring contact. Moreover, if I incorporate the fruit to the pastry, that tends to make it healthy…right? #dontanswerthat

The standard recipe stays the similar, besides you layer fresh chopped berries in the pan with the biscuits. As soon as it bakes it is entire of cinnamon and berry taste with a rich caramel-y sauce. But I never quit there…I experienced to make a pleasant creamy glaze. Strawberries and cream are greater than just strawberries, never you imagine?

I manufactured a basic powdered sugar glaze with some butter and International Delight Sweet Cream Coffee Creamer. Sweet Cream is my most loved creamer taste. It’s the 1 I usually have in my fridge. You men also know how a lot I like International Delight, considering that I have around 30 recipes that use it on this blog site. It’s not just for coffee, my mates!

Moreover, it tends to make a good sweet creamy glaze that goes flawlessly on Strawberry Monkey Bread!

If you never like strawberries, you could entirely use blueberries or raspberries. Or even a mix of your favorites!

Nevertheless you make this, never forget the glaze…and make positive you have organization so you never eat it all!
