- Now, inhale as you slowly lower the bar to your chest by bending your elbows and bringing your arms back toward the bench.

(Second Movement)

- Exhale as you use your upper pec muscles to press the weights back up to the starting positon.

(Extra tips)

- Make sure to keep your chest lifted and your shoulder blades pinned to the bench throughout the entire exercise.

- When you finish your reps, carefully place the bar back on the rack. If necessary, ask someone to spot you during this exercise.

Bring your friends along on your exercise routine! This will make exercising more fun because it will feel more social. If you have someone to exercise with, time will fly by. Friends can help focus your attention on conversation which produces more energetic and prolonged workouts. To try and make exercising more enjoyable and fun, you should ask friends to join you.

Though video games are often considered a sedentary hobby, think again. Today there are video games that can help get you off the couch and on the way to a good work out. The game pulls you in, so you don't even realize that you're getting a workout. If you're more focused on the game than your body, you may be able to exercise for longer than ever before.

If your exercise clothes flatter your body, you will be more motivated to wear them and workout. Exercise clothing comes in many styles and colors, and you are sure to find exercise clothing that is fun to wear as well. When putting together an exercise outfit, get creative. The better you feel in your exercise clothes, the more motivated you will be to go out and exercise.

Try to avoid too much repetition. Make sure you spice it up! Boredom is the biggest enemy of a productive workout. Without the proper motivation, you might stop altogether. Always remember that variety is the spice of life, so change up your exercise routine every now and then. Variety is important to keeping yourself interested in work outs. When you stop being active, then the risk is very high that you will backtrack on your progress and lose all the ground you have gained.

You should never hesitate to acknowledge, and reward, your own success. A reward provides the motivation you will need to complete the next step of your journey. Make the treat something that you really want - you deserve it!

Exercising can be made fun. It does not have to be looked at as boring. Exercise can be enjoyable, and there are many ways to accomplish this. Keep the following in mind when you plan your workout regimen.
