Stiff Legged Dumbbell Deadlift - Thighs Exercise

(Starting Position)

Hold two dumbbells in front of your thighs with your palms facing down and your arms extended close to your body.

Your legs should be extended with your knees slightly bent.

Keep your back straight. This is the starting position.

(First Movement)

Inhale and keep your legs extended as you lower the dumbbells by bending at the hip and lowering your torso until your hamstrings feel fully stretched.

(Second Movement)

Now, exhale as you use your hamstrings to straighten your hips and bring your torso back up to the starting position. Tightly contract your hamstrings at the top of the movement.

Hold the contraction for a moment, and then repeat the movements until you have completed all of your reps.

(General Advice)

These movements can put extra strain on your lower back, so do not perform this exercise if you have any form of back injury.
