INTRO: In this video we are going to showcase our routine that will help tone the sides of your abs.

TRANSCRIPT:
Hi I’m Clancy from Inner Strength Pilates and Barre, and I’m about to show you a quick exercise to work the sides of your abs.

So you can do this at home just lying on a mat, knees together, and you’re going to bring your shoulder blades flat on to the ground while you keep those hips stepped above one another.

So I’m going to do a big breathe in, exhale curling up, you want to keep your elbows on the same level so try not to twist, inhale back down, exhale curling up, inhale back down.

We’re going to do 10 of these, big breathe out, inhale back.

Now, once you’ve done 10 we want to stay up, keep the tummy sinking in, and we’ll do 20 little pulses.

Keep the tummy scooped in time you pulse up, coming back down, then go back to your normal sets.

Try for about 3 sets of these and then swapping sides, and that’s it.
